It will actually be your home in the future, when I am done building house number two. But for now this is where I get to wake up every morning, and where you get to have your morning coffee while getting tortured with French grammar. I hope you like it, you masochists.

I still need to make and install shelves above the countertop. Je dois encore fabriquer et installer des étagères au-dessus du plan de travail.

I am so happy I could forget it took me over 4 years.

Je suis si content, j'en oublierais presque que ça m'a pris plus de quatre ans.

I still need to make and install curtains under the countertop. Je dois encore faire et installer des rideaux sous le plan de travail.

I also need to put curtains under the bathroom sink. Je dois aussi mettre des rideaux sous la vasque de la salle de bain.

But the first thing I am going to do is to make a couch that also serves as storage. Mais la première chose que je vais faire c'est un canapé qui me servira aussi de rangement.

The latest on the house interior

I’ve been reluctant to post about the building process, I guess cause I was not certain I would ever get through it.

But now that I am seeing the finish line, I am happy to show you where I am at 🙂

I only need to place the tiles and I’ll be able to move in.

 Then I’ll make and place some shelves (that’s what the vertical pieces of wood on the walls are for).
